RRB Group D result 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has declared the RRB Group D result 2026 for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results, merit list and scorecards by visiting the official regional RRB websites.The result has been released in PDF format containing the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next stage. Candidates can also download their individual scorecards by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.The RRB Group D recruitment drive aims to fill 32,438 vacancies across various Level-1 posts in the Indian Railways.
What’s next after the RRB Group D CBT result?
Candidates who have qualified the Computer-Based Test will now have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET schedule will be announced separately by the respective regional RRBs.Candidates who clear the PET will move on to the remaining stages of the recruitment process, which include:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination
Only candidates who qualify at every stage will be considered for final appointment.
RRB Group D 2026 salary
Candidates selected for Level-1 posts will be appointed under the 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC).The initial basic pay is ₹18,000 per month. In addition to the basic salary, selected candidates will also receive allowances such as:
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Transport Allowance (TA)

Over 1.08 crore applications received
According to the Railway Recruitment Board, more than 1.08 crore candidates applied for the recruitment under CEN 08/2024.Among all railway zones, Mumbai recorded the highest number of applications, with 15.59 lakh candidates registering for the recruitment process.The CBT was conducted between November 27, 2025, and February 10, 2026. Before the declaration of the result, the Board released the provisional answer key and allowed candidates to raise objections by paying ₹50 per question. The final result has been prepared after reviewing the objections and making necessary revisions to the answer key wherever required.Candidates are advised to download and keep a copy of their scorecard for future use and regularly visit the official regional RRB websites for updates on the PET, document verification and other stages of the recruitment process.
