Kelly Rowland recently attended the Airbnb.org Gala in Hollywood, which was held on October 28. While in conversation with PEOPLE at the event, the singer shared teasing comments about whether she would be reuniting with Destiny’s Child during Jay-Z’s performance or not. She cheekily commented, “That’s none of my business. That’s his performance. That’s none of my business.”For the unversed, Destiny’s Child was an iconic girl group that was active from 1990 to 2006. The group was made up of six members in total: Beyoncé, LaTavia Roberson, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett, Farrah Franklin, and Michelle Williams. Over the course of their career, they released four studio albums, one Christmas LP, and several compilation projects. Over the years, they produced quite a lot of hits, which include ‘Say My Name,’ ‘Independent Women Part I,’ ‘Survivor,’ ‘Bootylicious,’ ‘Lose My Breath,’ and ‘Bills, Bills, Bills.‘ The main trio consisting of Rowland, Beyoncé, and Williams has reunited on multiple occasions for a performance and has remained close to one another. The speculation about their reunion also came along with Beyoncé’s Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show in 2013, where they reunited after disbanding only a few years prior to that. Other than that, they also reunited at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards in 2015 to perform Williams’ song ‘Say Yes’ and at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2018, where the ‘Cowboy Cartier’ singer was scheduled to headline the event.Rowland also talked about the group having a get-together following Jay-Z’s 30th anniversary concert at SoFi Stadium on October 23. She shared, “We were there for our big brother; Bey’s there for her man. He put on a hell of a show. Friday was incredible, but Saturday? I don’t know how that roof was still on because the energy in there was just palpable. It was absolutely amazing.”Jay-Z’s halftime performance is going to be held on February 14, 2027.
