‘Batwara 1947’, Sunny Deol‘s latest release, may have had a slow run at the box office, but the actor has found reassurance from old friend Salman Khan. Karan Deol, who is Sunny’s son and also stars in the film, revealed that Salman phoned the family after watching it to shower praise on Sunny’s performance.

In a recent conversation with Filmygyan, Karan opened up about Salman’s close bond with the Deol family, calling the superstar someone who has consistently been there for them. “He loves the family so much. He’s just so supportive. He’s always there. His love is very genuine. He’s just an amazing person,” Karan said.When Karan was asked if Salman had gotten in touch with the family after ‘Batwara 1947’ released, he confirmed that the superstar had indeed called them. “Yes, he called us. He said he liked the film; he liked my father in it,” Karan revealed.
