The Azim Premji Foundation has started the application process for the Azim Premji Scholarship 2026-27 today, August 10. The scholarship is meant to support girl students from disadvantaged backgrounds who want to continue their college education.Eligible students can apply through the official website of the Azim Premji Foundation. The last date to submit the scholarship application is August 31, 2026.The scholarship is not awarded on the basis of marks or merit. Students must meet the eligibility conditions set by the foundation to receive the scholarship.
Azim Premji Scholarship 2026 : Eligibility
To apply for the scholarship, students must meet the following conditions:
- They must have passed both Class 10 and Class 12 as regular students from a government school or college in an eligible state or Union Territory.
- They must have taken admission in the first year of a recognised undergraduate degree or diploma course lasting between two and five years.
- The course can be at a government college or university or a recognised private college or university anywhere in India.
Scholarship amount
Selected girl students will receive Rs 30,000 every year for the full duration of their undergraduate degree or diploma course.The Azim Premji Foundation has also said that it does not charge any fee at any stage of the scholarship application process.
How to apply for Azim Premji Scholarship 2026
Students can follow these steps to apply:
- Visit the official Azim Premji Foundation website.
- Click on ‘Register New Applicants Cohort 2026’.
- Enter your mobile number and verify it using a one-time password.
- Create your user ID and password.
- Log in and fill in the application form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Enter valid bank account details.
- Save and submit the application form.

- Recent passport-size photograph
- Aadhaar card
- Bank account details
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- College admission proof
The documents must be uploaded in PDF, PNG or JPG format. Each file should be between 30 KB and 500 KB in size.Students who meet the eligibility criteria should submit their applications before the August 31 deadline and keep a copy of the completed form for future reference.
