Stock market today: BSE Sensex tumbles over 300 points, Nifty50 opens below 24,600
Benchmark indices began the session in red, extending cautious sentiment amid mixed global cues and renewed concerns over rising crude oil prices. In early trade, BSE Sensex declined 318.74 points, or 0.40%, to 78,636.02, while NSE Nifty 50 fell 37.20 points, or 0.15%, to trade at 24,598.80.
