The PCB has teamed up with Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Trust Hospital to spread awareness and support patients who need treatment.<\/p>\n Pakistan\u2019s players will wear specially designed pink jerseys, while England players, match officials and commentators will wear pink ribbons to show their support. The stumps will also be pink, and stadium screens and advertising boards will carry messages about breast cancer awareness.The PCB has also arranged free breast cancer screenings for fans from October 24 to 26 through its partnership with Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Trust Hospital.\u201cThe Pakistan Cricket Board recognises the responsibility that comes with the immense following and influence of cricket in our country,\u201d said the PCB COO Sumair Ahmad Syed.\u201cThrough this Pink Ribbon initiative, we want to use the platform of international cricket to raise awareness about breast cancer and highlight the importance of early detection and timely medical attention.\u201dFans can also purchase special pink-themed merchandise through the PCB\u2019s online store. Money raised from the initiative will help pay for the treatment of patients who cannot afford it. The board has also arranged an auction of signed jerseys from Pakistan stars Shaheen Afridi and Babar Azam, with proceeds going towards the same cause. Pakistan previously held a Pink Day during their T20I series against South Africa last year.<\/p>\n Away from the awareness campaign, the match is important for both teams in the tri-series.
