The makers recently conducted the film\u2019s pooja and switch-on ceremonies, marking the start of filming for the much-anticipated project. The big-budget film brings together Fahadh Faasil, filmmaker Dileesh Pothan<\/a> and writer-producer Syam Pushkaran as producers. It also marks the directorial debut of Roy, who previously worked as a co-director on several films associated with Dileesh Pothan.<\/p>\n The makers of \u2018Karate Chandran\u2019 have commenced filming in Kottayam after announcing the project some time ago. The film is expected to be shot across Kottayam and its surrounding locations. Reports from Reporter website says that, according to the production plan, the team has scheduled 140 days for filming.\u2018Karate Chandran\u2019 marks Roy\u2019s first film as an independent director. He previously worked as a co-director with Dileesh Pothan, beginning with the acclaimed Malayalam film \u2018Maheshinte Prathikaaram\u2019.<\/p>\n Fahadh Faasil plays the central character in \u2018Karate Chandran\u2019. The actor is also producing the film alongside Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran. Writers S.
