A recent Instagram post by a content creator has gone viral after she shared the story of an Uber driver in Delhi who, according to her, earns around \u20b980,000 every month from rent but still spends 12 hours a day driving passengers.She said the driver’s choice is deeply personal. In her Instagram post, content creator Aastha Seth said the driver is from Samastipur, Bihar<\/a>. She shared that he earlier worked at a relative’s factory in Delhi before suffering a heart attack last year.\u201cThis guy is from Samastipur, Bihar. Earlier he was working at a relative\u2019s factory in Delhi, where he earned good, but last year he suffered from heart attack and his relative told him that now he\u2019s of no use as he can\u2019t do any work that requires strength and kicked him out of his factory. But this guy didn\u2019t stop there.\u201dShe then revealed another detail that surprised many people online.\u201cBtw just for the plot, he has 2 flats worth \u20b980 lacs in a society near Noida Electronic City. He gets \u20b980k rent from those flats every month. He had the choice and still has the choice to stop, rest and stay at home. But he chooses to work as an Uber driver.\u201d<\/p>\n

Why he still drives every day<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

Explaining what motivates the driver, Seth said he continues to work from 10 am to 10 pm every day.\u201cHe works from 10am to 10pm, earning 50k extra every month, just to show those people that his heart attack doesn\u2019t make him useless or worthless. He has 2 daughters for whom he has saved the 2 flats. He has ancestral properties in Bihar. But he still chooses to work.\u201dShe said the short conversation stayed with her because of the driver’s positive attitude.\u201cThis guy still chooses to smile. And I love the fact that he\u2019s not boasting anything here, he is just sharing. This 5 mins interaction with this man made me stop and think so much about life. He\u2019s such an inspiration for all of us who just need one reason to stop and quit.\u201d<\/p>\n
