According to official property registration documents accessed by real estate data analytics firm Liases Foras, the ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ star originally purchased the 684-square-foot ground-floor property in Andheri West for over Rs. 2.12 crore. The newly registered sale deed, completed with the Maharashtra<\/a> Inspector General of Registration, reveals that the buyer, Umang Rajkumar<\/a> Budhraja, paid a hefty stamp duty of Rs. 37.50 lakh, concluding a high-profile transaction that values the carpet area at an impressive rate of nearly Rs. 91,400 per square foot.<\/p>\n The documents reveal that the commercial shop spans a carpet area of 63.87 square metres (684 sq ft). Umang Rajkumar Budhraja bought it for Rs 6.25 crore, paying a stamp duty of Rs 37.50 lakh on the transaction. The sale deed was registered with the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration on July 1, 2026. Based on the registered consideration value, the deal equates to a rate of nearly Rs 91,400 per sq ft of the carpet area.<\/p>\n The documents further reveal that Warsi originally purchased the shop in February 2012 for Rs 2.12 crore, paying a stamp duty of over Rs 10 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 at the time.<\/p>\n Arshad Warsi is a well-known actor, recognised for his roles in films like \u2018Munna Bhai MBBS\u2019, \u2018Golmaal\u2019, \u2018Dhamaal\u2019, and \u2018Jolly LLB\u2019, among others.
