Jackky Bhagnani has become the talk of social media after a screenshot purportedly showing his profile on a dating app went viral. The timing of the image making rounds online has raised several eyebrows, given that it comes just months after the actor-producer humorously referred to his marriage with Rakul Preet Singh as a “situationship”.

The buzz started when a Reddit user shared a screengrab taken from a YouTuber’s video, which claimed to show Jackky’s profile on Raya, an exclusive invite-only dating app. The profile in question goes by the name ‘Jackky’ and lists ‘Actor/Producer’ in the bio, with the location mentioned as London, United Kingdom. However, it is important to note that the profile’s authenticity has not been independently verified, and it remains unclear whether the account is genuine, inactive or set up by someone else entirely. For those unfamiliar with the platform, Raya is an invite-only app widely popular among celebrities and high-profile personalities for dating, networking and socialising. Unlike regular dating apps, users must apply and go through a thorough vetting process before they are granted access, making it one of the most exclusive platforms of its kind.

The viral screenshot gained even more attention because of its timing, coming just months after Jackky’s comments about his marriage to Rakul Preet Singh set the internet abuzz. The actor-producer made headlines when he light-heartedly described their relationship as a “situationship” during a chat with Zingabad. “Rakul and I are married, but we are like in a situationship, which is, of course, we are exclusive to each other because that’s why we are married. But the most important thing is that I can talk to her about anything,” he had said.

When the backlash over Jackky’s comment started picking up steam online, Rakul took to her Instagram Story to address the situation and set the record straight. She made it clear that the remark had been taken completely out of context and blown out of proportion. “We had a great laugh today about how one line from an hour-long conversation can suddenly become the headline. Funny… until it’s not. Context matters. Nuance matters. Conversations deserve better than being reduced to clickbait. Maybe it’s time platforms take a little more responsibility for the narratives they create.”

Jackky
