The two had met during her stint on the OTT film, \u2018Sex Appeal\u2019, after which they had stayed together and had even gotten engaged.A spokesperson for Abdalla gave an official statement about the matter, citing that \u201cDue to recent interest in Mika\u2019s personal life, it would feel remiss to not address that her and Jake are no longer together. They continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms, and kindly ask for privacy and respect.\u201d No other information about their split has been shared with the public, and neither Short nor Abdalla has made separate comments about the split as well.<\/p>\n Jake Short and Mika Abdalla had been cast together to lead the OTT film, \u2018Sex Appeal\u2019 in 2021. From there, the duo connected well and started dating one another.
