The revised schedule now gives aspirants three more days to complete their online application forms.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>UGC NET is one of the country\u2019s major eligibility examinations conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, admission to PhD programmes, and admission to PhD-only courses in universities and colleges across India.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>According to the revised schedule released by NTA, candidates can now sumit their online application forms till May 23, 2026, up to 10 am. Earlier, the last date for registration was May 20, 2026.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>The examination fee payment window has also been extended. Candidates will now be able to pay the application fee till May 23, 2026, up to 11:50 pm.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>The agency has further revised the application correction schedule. The correction window, which allows candidates to edit details submitted in their forms, will now remain open from May 25 to May 27, 2026.
