Clothing with large buttons, embroidery, or multiple pockets is not allowed.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>For footwear, candidates are advised to wear slippers or low-heeled sandals. Shoes and boots are strictly prohibited at the exam centres.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>The NTA has also stated that candidates who need to wear specific clothing due to religious or customary reasons must report at least one hour before the reporting time to complete proper frisking.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>NTA CUET UG 2026: Other guidelines<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>Candidates appearing for CUET UG 2026 must carry a printed admit card, a valid government photo ID such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport, and a passport-size photograph for attendance purposes.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"26\"\/>The NTA has strictly prohibited all electronic devices inside the exam hall.
