The announcement was made as part of the company\u2019s financial results for FY2025-26, where Hyundai also outlined its future growth and expansion plans for the Indian market.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"2\"\/>One of the upcoming models will be a new mid-size SUV powered by an internal combustion engine, while the second product will be a compact electric SUV based on a localised dedicated EV platform. Hyundai added that the upcoming EV will mark the debut of its localised dedicated battery electric vehicle in the compact SUV category. Rural penetration also touched a record 25 percent during the quarter. The company also reported its highest-ever quarterly CNG contribution at 18 percent. <span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>Hyundai is also expanding its manufacturing operations in India. The company announced an additional expansion of 70,000 units at its Pune facility after Phase-II development. This will take Hyundai\u2019s total annual production capacity in India to 1.14 million units by 2030.
