From the emotional reasoning behind the decision to the physical toll it took on her body, the actor laid it all bare.<\/p>\n Akansha shared that the decision stemmed from both medical insight and what she was witnessing around her.\u201cTwo-part answer. I had lots of people around me who were getting pregnant… everyone started doing tests, and they were like, \u2018You should get your AMH done.\u2019 So I got my AMH done… my AMH was pretty low for my age.\u201dShe added, \u201cA lot of people around me were having a tough time getting pregnant… most of it was unexplained infertility. So both of them coupled together.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress described her choice as a conscious, forward-looking step rather than fear-driven.\u201cIt wasn\u2019t a fear; it was an understanding that it is something I need to do for my future self. And you just have to deal with it. It is kind of an insurance, I guess.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking about timing, Akansha admitted she wishes she had taken the decision sooner.\u201cI\u2019m 32. Ideally, your eggs are healthier in your early or mid-twenties, so I wish I had known all this before. But it\u2019s never too late. I just wanted to get my stuff together.\u201dShe added, \u201cI still believe I am late for freezing my eggs. I wish I had done it earlier.\u201dThe actress also hinted at being caught between different life stages among her peers and wanting to prioritise her present.\u201cI haven\u2019t done all the things I want to do… I didn\u2019t want to take that one-year break. I couldn\u2019t stand it.\u201dDescribing the discomfort further, she said, \u201cIt\u2019s not a period cramp. It\u2019s not pain. It\u2019s just a discomfort… bloating, heaviness, like there\u2019s just a big balloon in my stomach and it\u2019ll burst any minute.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite the intensity of the process, Akansha said she was certain about her decision from the start and received strong support from those around her.\u201cI usually talk to a lot of people before making decisions, but this time I just knew… I went all guns blazing.\u201dShe added, \u201cEveryone I told was like, \u2018Oh my God, that\u2019s awesome.\u2019 I genuinely think it\u2019s the smart thing to do at this point.\u201d<\/div>\n\u2018My AMH was pretty low for my age\u2019<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n
