While Kimmel\u2019s comments were called out by the Trump administration, along with many other politicians and netizens, Kimmel also shared his comments on the matter.In another one of his latest episodes, Kimmel commented about the US President and stated, \u201cOur first couple, Donald and Melania, who lately have seemed closer than ever \u2015 and I like to think I played a part in that.\u201d He also played a video of Melania Trump and Donald Trump attending a public event and briefly holding hands. However, slowly they let go of each other\u2019s hands, to which Kimmel added, \u201cThe hands say so much.\u201dHe added more to the segment, further adding that \u201cYou know what? Considering the week I\u2019ve had with the first couple, I\u2019m just gonna say that is a completely normal way to interact for two people who are very much in love. Maybe that\u2019s why his hands are all bruised – from Melania swatting them away.\u201d<\/p>\n Following backlash for Kimmel\u2019s comment about Melania Trump ahead of the White House shooting, the FCC has ordered approximately 8 TV channels to go under a license review, which was earlier scheduled for October 2028. The TV provider that hosts \u2018Jimmy Kimmel Live!\u2019 is also included in the list.<\/p>\n This is not the first time that the Trump administration has taken action against Kimmel. Last year, after his comment about Charlie Kirk\u2019s passing garnered a lot of backlash, his show was taken off the air for a few days.
