<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nAfter reports of acclaimed singer Arijit Singh<\/a> announcing his retirement from playback singing earlier this year, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan<\/a> visited him at his home in Murshidabad and urged him not to step away from music.Speaking about the visit, Aamir<\/a> called it an \u201camazing, lifetime experience\u201d and said, \u201cI was extremely happy after meeting him.\u201d<\/p>\n Aamir told Radio Nasha, \u201cWe were shocked, wondering if he would sing for us now,\u201d referring to the retirement buzz around Arijit.He added that it was his idea to travel to Arijit\u2019s home with composer Ram Sampath for recording sessions for Ek Din, a film co-produced by Aamir and starring his son Junaid Khan.Aamir recalled, \u201cI called Arijit to ask whether we should come, and he said he would fulfil the commitment he made to us.\u201dDescribing the time spent together, Aamir said, \u201cIt was a magical four days.\u201dHe added, \u201cArijit is not just a great singer… he is also a storyteller. Arijit has that same quality.\u201dHe further said, \u201cHe is a really gifted and talented singer and storyteller,\u201d and added, \u201cHe is an amazing human being who immerses himself in his work.\u201dAamir also shared, \u201cWe had so much fun even while we were working.\u201dAamir said, \u201cI got to meet his father, wife and children. They are all very nice people, and so is his team.\u201d <\/p>\n Ek Din, starring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan, is directed by Sunil Pandey and written by Sneha Desai and Spandan Mishra.
